Elementary and Middle School Shine at UIL Contest
The elementary and middle school students recently participated in a district UIL contest on Wednesday, December 7. The elementary competition consisted of 2nd through 6th grades and was held at Munday Elementary. The junior high competition consisted of 7th and 8th grades and was held at Electra Junior High. Seymour ISD's students did a superb job competing against pupils from Munday, Electra, Olney, Petrolia and Haskell. The elementary (2nd-6th) brought home 2nd place overall and the junior high (7th-8th) brought home first place overall.
