SEYMOUR

Hi Everyone! My name is Jessica Lacy. I wanted to take a few lines to tell you a little about myself, family, and educational background.

I have been in education for 27 years now. Of those 27 years I was a teacher for 20 and a school counselor for 7. Here at Seymour I am the middle school counselor and the Head volleyball coach. I feel so blessed to have been given this opportunity to share my two passions of coaching and counseling each day to students.

My husband and I live at Lake Kemp. 

My husband's name is  David Lacy. He is a Veterinarian in Vernon Texas. 

My son's name is Preston Lacy. He is a fireman in Midland Texas.

My daughter's name is Maegan Lacy. She is a freshman at The University of Central Oklahoma on a volleyball scholarship.

I am a HUGE animal lover! My main hobbies are coaching club volleyball, relaxing at home with my animals, or taking long walks in nature when given the opportunity!

I have an Associates in Science degree from Vernon College and played volleyball there.

A Bachelor in science degree from Southern Arkansas University and also played volleyball there.

A Master of Education in School Counseling from Wayland Baptist University.

Here at Seymour I am eager to start and maintain an educational relationship with each student. I look forward to partnering with each parent to help their student achieve a great social/emotional and mental school year!
